Sustainability and Climate Report Key Highlights Our Sustainability Approach and Strategy Our Sustainability Governance [2-9] [2-12] [2-13] [2-14] [2-17] UHREIT is committed to driving sustainable growth in the long term and has integrated the management of sustainability strategy and performance into our corporate governance practices. The following diagram depicts the sustainability governance structure of the Manager. Board of Directors Employees of the Manager Sustainability Steering Committee The Board determines, reviews and monitors UHREIT sustainability strategy, targets and initiatives. The Board also oversees the management of UHREIT’s sustainabilityrelated performance, with quarterly updates provided by the Management. Sustainability related topics are included in Board meeting agendas and are discussed by the Board on regular basis. The SSC is supported by all Employees of the Manager (“EM”) and comprises of representatives from Finance, Compliance, Investor Relations and Sustainability, Asset and Property Management functions. The EM is responsible for implementing sustainability strategies across the properties and collecting EESG data from various stakeholders for reporting purposes. To ensure commitment and involvement, EESG key performance targets are incorporated into remuneration for all employees. Since FY2021, the Board has established the Sustainability Steering Committee (“SSC”) to drive sustainability initiatives and performance. The SSC is led by the CEO of the Manager and comprise senior management across the Company, including the CFO, CIO and Head of Investor Relations and Sustainability. The SSC spearheads the development of UHREIT’s EESG strategy and framework. The SSC also oversees UHREIT’s sustainability policies and initiatives, while ensuring adequate allocation of resources to achieve UHREIT’s sustainability goals.
